RxDx Clinics in Jakkur is championing an integrated model that places primary care at the centre while ensuring access to specialist consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy services, day care and preventive programmes under one roof.
Serving areas of Jakkur, Thanisandra, Hennur, Yelahanka, Sahakar Nagar, Amruthahalli, Nagavara, Hebbal and Bhartiya City, the clinic aims to reduce the need for hospital visits by offering coordinated, neighbourhood-based care.
“Healthcare is moving away from fragmented, episodic treatment towards integrated models that ensure continuity,” said Dr Sunita Maheshwari, Senior Paediatric Cardiologist and Founder of RxDx Clinics.
“Primary care must remain the first point of contact, supported by access to specialists when required. This enables early identification of health issues and better coordination.”

Visiting specialists support areas such as cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, neurology, gastroenterology and psychiatry,” she adds.
The facility houses a day care unit for minor procedures, an in-house pharmacy with home delivery, an NABL-accredited lab and diagnostic services including ultrasound, ECHO, TMT, X-ray, ECG and pulmonary function testing.
Dr Mohammed Ilyas SP, Senior Geriatrician, highlighted the importance of coordinated care for older adults. “Older adults often present with diabetes, hypertension and mobility concerns, along with emotional and social challenges. A strong primary care base allows for medication review, frailty screening and early intervention.”
Dr Kavya B N, Consultant Family Physician and Diabetologist, added that continuity is crucial in chronic disease management. “Diabetes care works best when anchored in primary care with specialist oversight. Regular monitoring and early complication screening are far more effective with consistent follow-up.”
The integrated model reflects a broader shift toward accessible, community-based healthcare designed to deliver comprehensive care closer to home.
