Internship Opportunities at RxDx Healthcare
At RxDx, we believe in nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our internship programmes offer undergraduate and postgraduate students hands-on experience in various healthcare domains, including medical, administrative, and technical roles. We provide a structured learning environment where interns can gain practical knowledge, develop professional skills, and work alongside experienced practitioners in a real-world medical setting.
We also welcome school and college students who wish to explore the workings of a healthcare organisation. Our internships provide young minds with firsthand exposure to how doctors and healthcare professionals operate, inspiring many to pursue careers in medicine and allied health sciences.

Internship Outlines
Duration & Schedule:
The internship programme is conducted from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and government holidays. Internships are currently available at RxDx Whitefield and RxDx SAMANVAY, Malleswaram.
Participants may choose one of the following time slots based on their convenience:
Slot 1: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Slot 2: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Applicants can select the preferred slot at the time of registration, subject to availability.
For Class XII and Below Students
Goals:
- Gain an overview and subject knowledge of all departments.
- Observe medical procedures at a doctor’s discretion.
- Assist in volunteering and patient coordination.
- Prepare and deliver a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) summarising learnings and experiences from the internship. The presentation date will be scheduled and communicated after the internship concludes.
- Students who successfully complete the internship programme and presentation will receive an internship completion letter and a certificate.

For College Students
Goals:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of each department, including technical skills, responsibilities, and ethical considerations.
- Specialise in a particular area of interest within the medical field.
- Prepare and deliver a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) summarising learnings and experiences from the internship. The presentation date will be scheduled and communicated after the internship concludes.
- Students who successfully complete the internship programme and presentation will receive an internship completion letter and a certificate.

Precautions & Guidelines
Reporting Structure & Conduct
- All interns must follow the reporting and attendance protocols as directed.
- No interim leaves are allowed during the internship.
- Interns must adhere to their designated mentors and department leads.
- Professionalism and ethical behaviour are always expected.
- Interns are required to remain within their assigned department as per the internship schedule.
- To enhance your learning experience, interns are encouraged to bring a notebook, iPad, or laptop for notetaking during observation sessions.
Rules & Regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols. Interns are observers and must not handle medical equipment, medications, or patient care activities unless specifically authorised.
- Strictly comply with the code of conduct and workplace etiquette at RxDx.
Safety Measures
Pharmacy & Laboratory
- Understand and adhere to safety protocols while working in the pharmacy and lab departments.
- Wear appropriate protective gear as instructed.
- Do not handle needles, medications, blood samples, test tubes, used cotton, biomedical waste, or any potentially contaminated materials.
- Interns are not allowed to manipulate any equipment.
- Stay away from electrical points, outlets, and restricted areas.
- Interns are strictly prohibited from entering X-ray, CT, and ultrasound rooms unless specifically instructed and supervised.
- Avoid close contact with patients who have a high fever or other contagious illnesses.
Additional Information
- You will be required to stay in your assigned department as per your schedule. Please do not sit or walk around the lobby until assigned to. At the end of each day’s training programme, in case of delayed pick-up, you are requested to wait in the second-floor lobby.
- Usage of mobile phones is prohibited during the internship.
- If you are feeling unwell, inform your mentor or department lead immediately.
- If you are uncomfortable observing a specific procedure or patient case, you may opt out, and your decision will be respected.
