Dr Gummadi Anish Reddy D is a specialist in treating COPD, bronchial asthma and other airway diseases, lung malignancies, pleural disorders, sleep-disordered breathing, diseases of pulmonary circulation, various lung infections such as Tuberculosis, COVID, other viral, fungal, protozoan, parasitic and zoonotic aetiologies with a special interest in Interstitial lung diseases. He is proficient in procedures such as diagnostic and therapeutic Thoracocentesis, Intercostal drain and chest tube procedures, Pleurodesis, Flexible Bronchoscopy with Bronchoalveolar lavage, TBLB, TBNA, Thoracoscopy and Pleural biopsy, Polysomnography, Spirometry, DLCO and Non-invasive ventilatory management.
Strongly active in the academic field, Dr Reddy has also conducted TB awareness and guidelines strategy workshops for medical and paramedical personnel of VIMS& RC, Bangalore through NTEP. He has published various articles in renowned National and International Journals, presented his research on an International platform and conducted a National level research project as Co-principal Investigator at VIMS& RC.
