What is a TMT Test?
A Treadmill Test (TMT), also called an exercise stress test or cardiac stress test, checks how your heart performs when it works harder during exercise. As you walk on a treadmill, your heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and ECG are monitored.
This test helps doctors detect reduced blood supply to the heart and assess your safe level of physical activity.

- Wear comfortable clothes & shoes
- Avoid heavy meals, coffee, alcohol, and smoking before the test
- Men may need to shave chest hair for proper electrode placement
- Carry your current prescriptions and past medical records

- Pregnant women should not undergo TMT
