Pre-Test Preparation for Health Checks at RxDx Clinics
- Fasting: Some blood tests require 10–12 hours fasting. Only plain water is allowed.
- Hydration: Drink 3–4 glasses of water an hour before your appointment.
- Medication: Continue regular medicines (including for diabetes/thyroid) unless advised otherwise. Bring prescriptions/medications along. Inform the nurse if you are a diabetic or cardiac patient.
- Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for treadmill testing. Carry a mask.
